COMMENTS ON THE NATURAL WORLD

I spend the majority of my time thinking, writing and teaching about the economy and the stock market, and of course helping people find solutions to their financial challenges. But in the midst of my often hectic days on the investment battlefield, I like to take a little time to contemplate nature. I love to go sailing, and being out on the Pacific Ocean during a sunny Southern California day really connects you with the natural world. So the next time you find your life spiraling into high-anxiety mode, remember that you owe it to yourself to take a break and contemplate nature. Remember what Aristotle said about nature and its marvels, and you’ll likely appreciate that break even more — however brief it may be.
